About Me ✨

Hi! I’m Yiyun, a product designer with a background in visual communication and a deep passion for sustainability 🌱 and philosophy 🧘🏻‍♀️.

My work spans UX/UI design, user research, and AI-driven projects that connect design with social impact. I have 0-to-1 product experience and thrive where creativity, empathy, and systems thinking meet.

From late 2022 to early 2025, I stepped away from full-time work to pursue a spiritual life in lay practice — studying Eastern philosophy 🏯, hosting weekly reading groups, and living simply with daily contemplation. This period of inner cultivation deepened my sense of awareness, intention, and human connection — enriching how I approach empathy 💛, complexity 🧩, and systems thinking in design.

Experience 💼

Based in China, I’ve worked on both professional and personal design projects. At LexisNexis, I helped redesign a legal platform in collaboration with cross-functional teams ⚖️.

Earlier, I worked at F5 and NPLUS, focusing on digital marketing and brand storytelling — blending user insight with clear, impactful communication.

I also care deeply about sustainability 🌱, and co-developed imPACKED as its lead designer — an interactive map promoting sustainable venues and local economies across China.

Education 🎓

Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication Design – Macau University of Science and Technology

Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) – achieved after three years of work experience
